CAMPS: If your child is passionate about cooking, pastry, baking this is a great camp. They make everything from scratch. This is not a gimmicky camp they learn to cook from scratch and they eat what they make. A pastry chef is teaching your child.
COST: $310 per child (for a 4 day camp). You will be charged small 0.055 fee which goes to square processing. Gluten free camp will be charged $10 more for your child even if they do a regular camp to provide Gluten Free options class. please call store prior to camp.
AGES: 7 years-16 years of age only. 5 year olds are too young. No exceptions. Yes your kids make everything from scratch they learn life cooking skills, confidence and they will be able to make at home so you can enjoy their skills as well after camp is over..

CAMP QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE, ANSWERED
WHAT TO WEAR: Hair must be pulled back and tied in a knot, no open toe shoes (no flip flops) allowed in the kitchen You can wear sneakers or other shoes. Items that are made, will be eaten in class so no lunch is necessary to bring. T-shirt, shorts or pants and socks and sneakers is appropriate. Your child will not be allowed in kitchen if they have tank top or heels, heel boots, chains on their clothes or heavy jewelry are strictly no allowed. You will be called to bring appropriate clothes and your child can not participate in inappropriate clothing, there is no refund if your child is refused to participate. Please dont leave your child after 12:05pm.
CAMP SCHEDULE: camp focusses on these: Baking, Cooking, your child will make items from scratch and eat what they make in class. Etiquette training: this is general aspects of etiquette on personal grooming, social eating settings, how to behave, how to make friends, acting polite and getting the most out of a social situation, how to speak properly and walk properly. social acceptable topics, and layering topics for making friends; table settings, dressing for the appropriate situations, hygiene, choosing yourself, speaking in social settings. Food and where food comes from; GMO, organic, natural foods and what’s the difference why it’s important. Why things cost more, different types of burgers, identifying quality and healthy foods. Importance if making food at home. Difference in healthy oils and bad unhealthy oils butters, salts, flavoring food, herbs and why it matters. Caring about yourself and your family in the kitchen. Fancy baking topics: French baking, popular kids items made right. 1 min TikTok skits sessions where kids perform in a group to team building and get out of their shells is all fun, prizes are won. Small amounts of food are made enough for child to eat, no food goes home unless its macarons, or cake pops or cookies. morning tea and lunch is served.
CANCELING A CLASS/CAMP: If you cancel 2 or less days you will not get a refund for any reason. If you give 2 days notice or more you can book another camp/ class or get a gift card for equal value. please don’t leave messages on the answering machine that is not notice as we may not get them for a day or so later. If your camp is canceled you will get a full refund minus the processing fees. we only cancel if there 4 or less kids in the camp. Processing fees are like delivery charges you have used it already at time of purchase and are conveniences that are not refundable.
IS MY CHILD TOO YOUNG OR TOO OLD? we recommend 8-16 year olds, we dont take 17 year olds or 5 year olds.
MY CHILD HAS AN ALERGY?: If your child picks a class that can be modified fairly easily no charge is charged if not and gluten free flour is needed/ requested we will charge you $15 extra for the camp once you requested a Gluten free camp, if you want to provide your own Gluten free flour 2 packets are needed and you won’t be charged.
