NOT JUST BAKING: Your child may experience fun group performances in the class that are 1 minute long if they want to participate, they perform and may win a prize, its a team building session. Also etiquette training may be taught in your camp, which is fun for the kids, nothing serious going on here. Our camps are unique rare for the Va beach area so book in early. Most every child will love this camp if they like cooking or baking. If your child is too young 6 or younger unless they love baking will find this camp too hard. I leave this decision for the parent to make they know their child best. 5 year old are too young and we dont enroll them in.

FOR MY CHILD? Thank-you kindly and see your campers in the kitchen for a once in a life time experience. Suits kids that love to cook or bake or both,  if you child may consider cooking in the future, and for those who like structured but fun environments. Also for those who love to know where the food comes from the perspective how it’s made and why that is important; for kids that are raised in a food healthy conscious house and value the importance of made from scratch and quality ingredients. Also if you value having an expert right there with them to guide them and allow for mistakes in an encouraging and safe environment.  And most importantly being with other kids that share the same values and interests. Some camps are mostly all boys others are mostly all girls, just enrolled your child and they will make a buddy in class because many have good mix of both. don’t leave it last minute your camp may be canceled if not enough enrollments also you may miss out if its booked up and camp is full, which is usually what occurs so don’t wait just book in over the phone, on this website here https://macarontart.com/store/  or by personally coming in.

IS THE CAMP FEE ALL I PAY? The additional $3-5 per class is a fee for stripe for using the website we collect it and give it to them .If you dont want the fee physically come in to the store and pay with card or cash there’s no fee.If you call over the phone there’s a slight convenience manual entry fee charged by square. If you dont want this fee come in, Credit card companies charge us more if you dont swipe your card so come in.

Will MY CHILD ENJOY THE CAMP OR IS IT A WASTE OF MONEY?: I’ve been doing this for 10 years and yes most if not all love or like it a lot. Yes there is one child here and there who mayn’t like it but that’s ok, we dont all like to fly our of planes or play soccer or run, this is a unique experience for children nd most love it, your child will tell you if they like food, cooking, baking. Its not a waste is a learning experience they will learn a lot and have fun.

IS MY CHILD TOO YOUNG OR TOO OLD? No your child I perfect if they enjoy this they will find a buddy in class.if they are young they will find a buddy who like sot help them if old they will take on more of a leader role in their group.

WHY DOES IT COST SO. MUCH FOR THIS CAMP? It is a creme de la creme experience no doubt, your child is placed in a small group and taught how to kitchen works for their level, how to mix, cut, use a knife, how food works, boil, fry etc where it comes from, the important of good Natrual made at home food and how to preparer it cook it bake ir and best ways to east it. They have a pastry chef that actually runs the store teach your child and the food is fresh. Its also a learning life experience that will benefit them way after the camp is. over. Its also fun and they get to make real quality products that they will. over to eat. And food real food is not mass produced, real butter, real eggs, real creams chocolates etc. But its still a very reasonably priced camp for what your child receives.
